Director: Scott Panella (Louisville, KY)
Scott Panella: As the founders of Give A Goat, Scott and his wife Meg have a heart for East Africa. 2013 was the year that changed the Panella family as they grew their family from 4 to 6 through the adoption of their boys from Uganda. During the adoption process, the Panella’s felt it in their heart to give back to a country that provided two children for them. With the discovery that milking goats are underutilized in Uganda, Scott felt it was necessary to focus efforts starting to Give A Goat with the guiding principles of education, rehabilitation & ministry.
Philippians 4:13 “I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”

Board Member: Abby Graves (Louisville, KY)
Abby Graves: Abby first visited Uganda in June of 2016. Before going, she knew little about Uganda in general. Her time there opened her eyes and heart to love people in a way she had never experienced. While, there Abby witnessed the devastating effects that malnourishment can have on a child, and also saw where goat milk can fill a need in those malnourished. Excited to be work alongside Give A Goat, Abby plans to work on our semi-annual and annual fundraisers as well as communication.
John 13:34-35 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
